By car
Direct connection via the B1 (A40) to the highways A1 (Hansa line), A45 (Sauerland line), A2 (Berlin – Hanover – Dortmund – Oberhausen), A42 (Duisburg – Dortmund), B1 (A44) (Dortmund – Kassel).
Please follow the signs to Dortmund and pay attention to our own signs on the highways.
If you are using a navigation device, please enter “Rheinlanddamm 200, 44139 Dortmund” as the destination address. From the destination address, please follow the signs in the vicinity.
Parking spaces for approx. 8,800 cars and buses are available in the immediate vicinity. Parking fees are EUR 9.00 per car in all parking lots.
For all those arriving with an electric car, we have 2 electric charging stations with a total of 4 charging options in the immediate vicinity.

By subway
The subway line U 45 (direction Westfalenhallen) takes you comfortably from Dortmund main station to the “Westfalenhallen” stop in 10 minutes.
From Dortmund city center (Reinoldikirche or Stadtgarten subway stations), the U 46 (direction Westfalenhallen) will also take you to the “Westfalenhallen” stop in approx. 5 minutes.
Alternatively, take the U 42 (direction Hombruch) to the “Theodor-Fliedner-Heim” stop. From here it is only a few minutes’ walk to the exhibition grounds.
The route to the Westfalenhallen is signposted at the above stops. All the stops listed above are handicapped accessible.
By train
Dortmund Central Station is connected well by Deutsche Bahn with many direct trains to all major German cities, connections to nearby airports and some international destinations.
